Session theft via unsanitized Classification Store names
Published Apr 27, 2023 · Updated Jan 30, 2025
DOM-based XSS in Pimcore before 10.5.21 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in another backend user's browser. Classification Store panels interpolate unfiltered group, collection, property, and key names into Ext.Msg confirmation dialogs. Low-privileged access is required to save a crafted name, and a backend user must open the affected interface; execution can expose session cookies or alter page content.
