CVE-2023-23366Network attack vector

Authenticated file disclosure via path traversal

Published Oct 6, 2023 · Updated Sep 19, 2024

Path traversal in QNAP Music Station 5.3.x before 5.3.22 allows remote authenticated users to read unexpected files over a network. QNAP has not disclosed the affected endpoint or how it fails to constrain attacker-controlled path input before accessing the NAS filesystem. A valid Music Station account is required, and successful exploitation exposes file contents without reported write access or service interruption.
