Cryptographic key validation bypass via manipulated local files

Published Aug 10, 2023 · Updated Oct 9, 2024

Cryptographic validation bypass in HCL Nomad for web browsers before 1.0.7 allows local users to misuse cryptographic keys. Manipulating certain local files causes the client to circumvent validation before using the keys, but HCL has not disclosed the files, validation routine, or exact faulty operation.
