Administrator-context script execution via unescaped code parameter
Published Jul 4, 2023 · Updated Nov 21, 2024
Reflected XSS in WesternDeal Web Solution's Ninja Forms connectors allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser. The code query parameter is returned without escaping inside an HTML attribute on the WordPress admin configuration page. An attacker must persuade a logged-in administrator to open a crafted URL, after which the injected script executes in that administrator's browser context.
