Unauthenticated database compromise via unsanitized payment_intent
Published Mar 1, 2023 · Updated Mar 7, 2025
Blind SQL injection in the stripejs module before 4.5.5 allows remote attackers to read and alter the PrestaShop database via HTTP. The stripejsValidationModuleFrontController::initContent() method interpolates the payment_intent request value into a SQL string without pSQL sanitization. No authentication or user interaction is required; exploitation can steal payment data, gain administrative access, or delete shop data.
