Web-service outage via crafted formDefault POST request
Published Feb 23, 2023 · Updated Mar 17, 2025
Denial of service in Korenix JetWave 4200 Series 1.3.0 and JetWave 3200 Series 1.6.0 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt the web service. The formDefault handler processes a crafted POST request by terminating its underlying binary, leaving the management interface unavailable. An authenticated session is required, and the affected web service remains inaccessible until the device is rebooted.
