CVE-2023-23295Known exploitationPublic exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated root command execution via sysCmd parameter

Published Feb 23, 2023 · Updated Mar 17, 2025

Command injection in Korenix JetWave 4200 1.3.0 and JetWave 3000 1.6.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The /goform/formSysCmd endpoint accepts the attacker-controlled sysCmd parameter as an operating-system command and runs it with root privileges. A low-privilege web session is required; successful exploitation gives full control of the device's underlying operating system.
