Access-code replacement via missing nonce validation
Published Jul 17, 2023 · Updated Nov 5, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in GSheetConnector for WooCommerce before 1.3.6 allows remote attackers to replace the access code. The wc-gsheetconnector-config admin page accepts a code query parameter and saves it without validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to open a crafted URL, after which the attacker's access code replaces the configured value.
