CVE-2023-2327Public exploit

Stored script execution via untyped date defaults

Published Apr 27, 2023 · Updated Jan 31, 2025

Stored XSS in Pimcore before 10.5.21 allows local users with high privileges to execute script in another user's browser via class date fields. The class editor accepts a non-date default value and passes it into date or datetime handling without first enforcing an object type. Exploitation requires a privileged user to store the crafted class definition and another user to open it, exposing that user's browser session and page contents.
