Browser script execution via reflected artname input
Published Feb 10, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Reflected XSS in Art Gallery Management System 1.0 allows remote attackers to run scripts in a visitor's browser through a crafted URL. The product.php response renders attacker-controlled artname input as active HTML instead of text, causing an event handler to execute. Exploitation requires a visitor to open the crafted URL; the observed consequence is script execution in that visitor's browser context.
