Navigation restriction bypass via crafted HTML
Published Jul 28, 2023 · Updated Feb 13, 2025
Insufficient data validation in Google Chrome DevTools before 111.0.5563.64 allows remote attackers to bypass navigation restrictions. Google has not published which DevTools input is accepted without adequate validation or how it defeats the navigation control.
