Insufficient policy enforcement in Google Chrome before 112.0.5615.49 allows remote attackers to bypass File System API restrictions. Google identifies the File System API as the affected component but has not published the policy-checking error or request path that mishandles a crafted HTML page. Reachability requires the affected browser to process attacker-controlled HTML; public material does not specify whether the bypass permits file reads, writes, or another restricted operation.
