Script execution via unneutralized credential name
Published Feb 1, 2023 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Zoho AssetExplorer 6.9 allows remote attackers to execute script in another user's browser through a credential name. The new-workstation flow places the credential name into generated page content without neutralizing browser-interpreted input. Remote attackers need no account, but another user must render the resulting content before the script can read or modify data in that browser context.
