Stored XSS via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Jun 9, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in W3 Eden Download Manager 3.2.70 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through shortcode attributes. The User::members method passes unsanitized sid data into members.php, while login and registration forms render unescaped logo values in image attributes. Contributor-level access is required to store a payload in a page or post; the script executes when that content is viewed in the viewer's browser context.
