Stored script execution via unescaped payroll fields
Published May 1, 2024 · Updated Mar 26, 2025
Stored cross-site scripting in Employees Payroll Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through payroll fields. Main.php stores code, title, from_date, and to_date POST values, and the payroll edit view inserts them into HTML attributes without output encoding. A company-management account must submit the payload and another user must open the affected edit view, exposing data and actions available to that browser session.
