Browser script execution via unescaped product fields
Published May 1, 2024 · Updated Mar 27, 2025
Stored and reflected XSS in SourceCodester POS - Point of Sale System 1.0 allows remote attackers to run script in a user's browser. Main.php accepts code, name, description, and price POST values, stores them without neutralization, and list.php prints database values directly into HTML; add.php also echoes submitted values directly. Script execution occurs when a user renders an affected form or product list, and stored injection requires access to the authenticated product-management feature.
