Memory leak in the Qualcomm DWC3 USB driver in Linux kernels before 5.17 allows local users to crash the system during device registration. The dwc3_qcom_acpi_register_core function exits from allocation and device-addition error paths without releasing the allocated platform device. Exploitation requires local access and execution of the Qualcomm DWC3 ACPI registration error path; the reported consequence is a system crash.
