Administrator-context script execution via unescaped session limit
Published May 30, 2023 · Updated Jan 10, 2025
Reflected XSS in Softaculous Loginizer 1.7.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts in an administrator's browser. The loginizer_security page outputs limit_session[count] inside form markup without context-appropriate escaping. Exploitation requires a high-privilege user to open an attacker-controlled page that submits the crafted value, enabling actions or data access within that user's browser context.
