CVE-2023-22958Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Phishing redirect via unvalidated PIN target

Published Jan 11, 2023 · Updated Apr 7, 2025

Open redirect in Syracom Secure Login for Jira before 3.1.1.0 allows remote attackers to redirect users to attacker-controlled sites. The public PIN-validation servlet carries an attacker-supplied target through Jira login and 2FA, then issues a 302 redirect to that URL without restricting its destination. Exploitation requires a user to follow the crafted link and complete login and PIN entry; the redirect supports credential-and-PIN phishing but does not directly bypass 2FA.
