File disclosure via loading-job path traversal
Published Apr 13, 2023 · Updated Feb 7, 2025
Information disclosure in TigerGraph Enterprise Free Edition gsql_server 3.1.0 through 3.8.0 allows remote authenticated users to read local files. A data loading job accepts a caller-controlled path without confining file access to an authorized directory, so gsql_server returns data from arbitrary filesystem locations. Designer permission and loading-job execution rights are required; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of files readable by the service.
