Authenticated daemon crash via malformed INGEST_EVAL

Denial of service in affected Splunk Enterprise and Cloud Platform releases allows remote authenticated users to crash splunkd. Splunk Web processes an improperly formatted INGEST_EVAL parameter in a Field Transformation without catching the resulting exception, terminating the daemon. An account capable of creating or editing a Field Transformation or running ingestpreview is required; the bounded consequence is a service crash.
