Browser script execution via unfiltered strorder
Published Apr 26, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in uCMS 1.6.0 Column Configuration allows remote authenticated users to run script in another user's browser. The saddpost.php adding method insufficiently filters the strorder field submitted to sadmin_saddpost, allowing executable markup into column configuration. Reaching the write requires an authenticated Site Management session, and impact occurs when another user loads the affected content.
