CVE-2023-22881Network attack vector

Client crash via malformed STUN UDP traffic

Published Mar 16, 2023 · Updated Feb 26, 2025

STUN parsing in Zoom Clients before 5.13.5 allows remote authenticated users to crash the client with crafted UDP traffic. Zoom has not disclosed the affected parser routine or the specific out-of-bounds buffer operation performed on the STUN datagram. The sender requires low-privileged access and network reachability to the client's UDP path; successful delivery terminates the client without reported data disclosure or modification.
