Authenticated PHP code execution via unsafe unserialize
Published Jan 14, 2023 · Updated Apr 7, 2025
PHP object injection in Tiki before 24.1 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code through a crafted spreadsheet import. TikiSheetSerializeHandler::_load() in lib/sheet/grid.php passes attacker-controlled import data directly to PHP unserialize(). Exploitation requires the Spreadsheets feature and permission to create a sheet; the published object chain demonstrates server-side PHP execution.
