Sensitive information disclosure via SLDPRT buffer over-read
Published Apr 20, 2023 · Updated Jan 16, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Datakit CrossCad/Ware SDK before 2023.1 allows local users to disclose sensitive information via a crafted SLDPRT file. CrossCadWare_x64.dll reads beyond the end of an allocated buffer while parsing attacker-controlled SLDPRT data. Exploitation requires a user or integrating application to open the file, and the reported impact is data disclosure without code execution or service interruption.
