Unquoted search path in Intel Server Firmware Update Utility before 16.0.7 allows local users to gain elevated privileges through its installer. The installer invokes a path element without quotation, allowing an attacker-controlled executable at an earlier matching path to run with installer privileges. Exploitation requires authenticated local access, low privileges, user interaction, and control of a searched location.
