Frontend denial of service via malformed issue data
Published Jul 10, 2023 · Updated Oct 29, 2024
Improper input validation in Palantir Foundry allows remote authenticated users to disrupt issue participants' frontends. The issue-submission path accepts malformed issue data that the Foundry Frontend cannot process, causing participants to lose frontend functionality. An authenticated user able to create an issue can deny frontend use to every participant associated with that issue.
