Open redirect via unsafe debounce rules
Published Feb 9, 2023 · Updated Mar 25, 2025
Open redirect in Brave Adblock Lists allows remote attackers to redirect users through crafted links after user interaction. The debounce list removed listed redirect intermediaries without preserving interceptors that enforced destination safety. Exploitation requires a user to follow a crafted link; the redirect can expose information or alter the destination reached, but it does not interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
