Settings and content tampering via missing nonce validation
Published Aug 31, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in WP Directory Kit 1.2.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter plugin settings and directory content via forged requests. The admin_page_display function processes state-changing administrative actions without consistently validating a WordPress nonce. Exploitation requires an administrator to submit an attacker-crafted request and can change or delete settings, import demo data, or modify or delete related posts and terms.
