Buffer overflows in affected ArubaOS 10 and InstantOS access points allow remote attackers to execute privileged code via crafted PAPI packets. HPE has not identified the affected services or buffers; it discloses only that packets sent to the PAPI UDP/8211 listener trigger buffer overflows. No authentication is required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary code as a privileged user on the embedded operating system.
