Stored cross-site scripting via missing nonce validation
Published Jun 13, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in WP Directory Kit 1.1.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to store malicious JavaScript through a forged request. The Wdk_resultitem insert function accepts an administrator's result-item request without verifying a WordPress nonce, then persists attacker-controlled settings and script content. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to act on the forged request; the stored script executes in visitors' browsers and alters site-displayed content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
