Privileged command execution via web interface injection
Published Feb 28, 2023 · Updated Mar 12, 2025
Command injection in the ArubaOS web-based management interface allows remote authenticated users to execute privileged OS commands. HPE identifies the web management interface as the injection locus but has not published the affected request field or command-construction error. Administrative authentication is required; successful exploitation executes commands as a privileged operating-system user and permits full device compromise.
