Buffer overflow in HPE Aruba Networking ArubaOS allows remote attackers to execute privileged code through crafted PAPI packets. Multiple underlying operating-system processes mishandle untrusted PAPI packet data and overflow memory buffers, although HPE has not identified the processes or exact copy operations. No authentication or user interaction is required, but exploitation has high complexity and yields arbitrary code execution as a privileged operating-system user.
