Unauthenticated privileged code execution via PAPI overflow

Stack-based buffer overflow in affected HPE Aruba Networking controllers and gateways allows remote attackers to execute privileged code. The PAPI UDP/8211 packet-handling path accepts specially crafted packets, but the vendor has not disclosed the affected function or precise unchecked operation that overruns the stack buffer. Network access to UDP port 8211 is required; successful exploitation executes arbitrary code as a privileged operating-system user without authentication.
