Quantity-limit bypass via duplicate cart line items
Published Jan 17, 2023 · Updated Mar 10, 2025
Improper input validation in Shopware Platform before 6.4.18.1 allows remote authenticated users to bypass cart quantity limits via the API. Cart validation treated each line item independently instead of totaling quantities for entries with the same referenced product identifier. An authenticated sales-channel context can therefore place duplicate entries beyond the configured maximum purchase quantity and undermine stock controls.
