Spreadsheet formula execution via unsanitized CSV exports
Published Nov 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSV injection in StellarWP GiveWP 2.25.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute formulas via exported donation data. The print_csv_rows exporter writes attacker-controlled donation field values into CSV cells without neutralizing formula-leading characters. Exploitation requires an administrator to export the data and open the file in spreadsheet software configured to evaluate the embedded formula, enabling code execution or data disclosure on that workstation.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
