Settings modification via unvalidated AJAX request
Published May 22, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in Coming Soon by Supsystic 1.7.10 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings. The saveGroup action on wp-admin/admin-ajax.php accepts attacker-controlled opt_values settings without effective nonce validation. Exploitation requires a logged-in administrator to submit a forged request, and the demonstrated consequence is unauthorized modification of coming-soon settings.
