Settings modification via missing nonce validation
Published Apr 23, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in TriniTronic Nice PayPal Button Lite 1.3.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to modify plugin settings. The printAdminPage() function saves submitted settings without requiring a valid WordPress nonce, so a forged request is accepted as an administrator action. Exploitation requires a logged-in site administrator to open an attacker-controlled link or page; the bounded consequence is unauthorized plugin-configuration change.
