Missing authorization and CSRF in Hal Gatewood Dashicons + Custom Post Types 1.0.2 and earlier allow remote attackers to make unauthorized changes. Patchstack has not published the affected request handler or the authorization and CSRF checks omitted when it processes state-changing input. Exploitation requires either subscriber-level access or inducing an authorized user to submit a request; the public record does not identify the data changed or the form of service interruption.
