CVE-2023-22664Network attack vector

Service interruption via HTTP/2 memory exhaustion

Published Feb 1, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025

Resource exhaustion in F5 BIG-IP and BIG-IP SPK allows remote attackers to interrupt service with crafted HTTP/2 requests. With client-side HTTP/2 and HTTP MRF Router enabled on a virtual server, undisclosed requests drive excessive memory utilization. The affected path is unauthenticated and network reachable, and the documented consequence is availability loss without data disclosure or modification.
