Authenticated script execution via client-side security enforcement
Published May 23, 2023 · Updated Jan 21, 2025
Cross-site scripting in T&D and ESPEC MIC data loggers with all firmware versions allows remote authenticated users to run scripts. The advisories do not identify the affected request, parameter, or missing server-side validation that permits script content to reach the browser. Exploitation requires access to the device interface and an active logged-in browser session, allowing script actions in that user context without service interruption.
