Unauthenticated service interruption via client-secure renegotiation

Published Jun 13, 2023 · Updated Oct 23, 2024

Denial of service in Fortinet FortiNAC allows remote attackers to interrupt affected appliances via client-secure renegotiation. Fortinet identifies client-secure renegotiation as the trigger but has not disclosed the listening service or underlying resource-control failure. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation interrupts appliance availability without reported data exposure or modification.
