Stack-based buffer overflow in Rockwell Automation 1756-EN modules allows remote attackers to execute code via a crafted CIP request. The email object processes request-controlled data without adequate stack-buffer bounds enforcement. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation executes code on the communication module.
