CVE-2023-22574Network attack vector

Information disclosure via sensitive IPMI logging

Published Feb 1, 2023 · Updated Mar 26, 2025

Sensitive information logging in Dell PowerScale OneFS 9.0.0.x through 9.4.0.x allows remote authenticated users to disclose protected data. The IPMI module's platform API inserts sensitive information into cluster log files instead of preventing that data from being recorded. Exploitation requires a low-privileged cluster account with log-reading permission; Dell also reports denial of service without publishing its precise trigger.
