CVE-2023-2257

Local authentication bypass via unenforced Force Login

Published Apr 24, 2023 · Updated Feb 4, 2025

Authentication bypass in Devolutions Password Manager Desktop 2023.1.1.3 and earlier allows local users to unlock a Hub Business space. The Hub Business integration leaves the Force Login control unimplemented, so the locked client opens the space without requesting its password. Exploitation requires access to the locked desktop application's interface, a configured Hub Business space, and Force Login enabled; successful access exposes protected vault data and permits limited changes.
