Authenticated code execution through undisclosed code injection
Published Jan 16, 2024 · Updated Jun 20, 2025
Code injection in affected Atlassian Confluence Data Center releases allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. Atlassian has not published the affected component or the operation that permits attacker-controlled input to become executable code. Reachability requires an authenticated account with high privileges; successful exploitation runs code in the Confluence service context and can read or alter data or interrupt service.
