Template injection in affected Atlassian Confluence Data Center and Server releases allows remote attackers to execute code through a page. Atlassian identifies unsafe page input as the injection vector but has not disclosed the vulnerable function or exact template-processing operation. Anonymous access is sufficient when enabled; otherwise an authenticated account and network access to the instance are required.
