Remote code execution in Atlassian Confluence Data Center and Server allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through JMX. Atlassian ties the flaw to the JMX network interface but has not published the vulnerable operation or how authenticated JMX input reaches code execution. Exploitation requires valid credentials and a nondefault TCP port for remote JMX; arbitrary code runs with the Confluence process privileges.
