Authenticated code execution via system-call injection
Published Jul 18, 2023 · Updated Oct 1, 2024
Code injection in Atlassian Bamboo Server and Data Center 8.0.0 through 9.2.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code. Atlassian states that attacker-controlled input modifies actions taken by a system call, but it has not disclosed the affected function or validation failure. A valid account and a successful high-complexity request are required; execution can read or alter Bamboo data and interrupt the service.
