CVE-2023-22493Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Server-side request forgery via encoded URL delimiters

Published Jan 13, 2023 · Updated Mar 10, 2025

SSRF in affected RSSHub routes before 1.0.0-master.a66cbcf allows remote attackers to send server-side requests via a crafted URL. Route handlers concatenate a user-supplied domain into fixed upstream URLs without restricting it to an expected hostname; encoded slash and fragment characters redirect the request to an attacker-selected host. The route must accept the hostile parameter, and successful exploitation reaches internal or otherwise inaccessible resources and can disclose their data.
